Tottenham ‘Barmin transfer’ Harry Kane successor found → 27-year-old ST scored 20 goals in EPL last season → Available to play from January next year, but only 1650 billion won in transfer fee ‘More expensive than Kane’

Tottenham’s Harry Kane move to Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga feels like it’s in the early stages.

The Bavarians want to finalize the signing of Kane before the start of the season. That’s why they want to fly to London, England, soon to hold talks with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy.

The problem is the £100 million ($164.7 million) transfer fee Levy wants. Having just celebrated his 30th birthday, Kane is around the ageing curve and Bayern Munich are willing to pay a little less than £100 million. However, Levy is not willing to take a penny off the £100 million mark.

Munich have recently signaled that they are willing to pay more than the club’s record transfer fee of £85 million for Levy. It’s not £100 million, of course, but it’s something that could sway Levy’s mind. Perhaps Levy will allow Kane to leave before the start of the season.

So, the English media is urging Tottenham to find a replacement for Harry Kane as soon as possible. They’re even suggesting a candidate.

One of their favorites is Brentford’s Ivan Toney. The striker is 27 years old. He’s also an England international. They say that he’s the only one who can surpass Harry Kane’s stature.

There is a catch. Toni is being disciplined by the Premier League for violating betting rules. He was found to have violated the English Football Association’s (FA) betting regulations between February 2017 and January 2021. Soccer officials are prohibited from directly betting or providing information, and Tony violated this by placing bets himself. The authorities handed him an eight-month suspension. He can’t play for his club or the England national team until January 16 of next year, and he can’t take part in team training until September.

However, he”s not a bad striker. After moving to Brentford in 2020-21, he scored 33 goals in 48 games in his first season, helping the club win promotion to the English Premier League (EPL).

In the 2021-22 season, he scored 12 goals in 33 appearances in the EPL. Last season, he scored 20 goals in 33 appearances before being suspended. That was third in goals behind Man City’s Elling Holland (35) and Harry Kane (26). He’s definitely a striker.

Tottenham had previously shown interest in Tony, who was in the lower leagues before moving to Brentford in 2020, the Daily Star points out. Naturally, they had noticed his goalscoring ability and were confident he could fill Kane’s shoes. However, the deal fell through when the COVID-19 pandemic left him unable to play. 메이저사이트

At the time, a Tottenham scout claimed that “Toni is a relatively cheap option that would not only solve Kane’s injury problems but also bolster Tottenham’s power”.

Now, his price tag has risen significantly. Brentford manager Thomas Frank has claimed that his price tag is over £100 million.
