While local media in Spain and France, as well as leading reporters, have claimed that Lee Kang-man is close to joining Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), local media in Mallorca have insisted that the deal is not yet official.
Lee has been heavily linked with a move away from Mallorca in the summer transfer window following his outstanding performances this season, with PSG having recently made a firm offer for the player.
Reports in Spain and France claimed that a deal was close, with PSG’s proposed fee of more than €20m (£27.6m), a contract until 2028, and details of a medical.
However, the local media in Majorca, who heard the news of Lee’s transfer, said that the deal was not close.

Some French media outlets have also reported that a move to PSG is not yet completely close, although they admit that this is due to Serie A and some other offers and that PSG’s offer is the closest.
However, Cope Mallorca claim that PSG have not even made an official offer yet, and that it is still entirely possible for the club to sign Lee if they do materialise.
“There’s nothing stopping PSG from signing Lee if they materialise their plans. However, the most important thing is for PSG to formalise it and turn the deal from words to deeds,” he said, explaining that the most important thing is for PSG to make a firm offer.
