The match was more one-sided than expected, as the two teams fought in multiples of each other. DRX took the first set with a split push that capitalized on the growth of Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee (Jacks), caught OK Savings Bank off guard and held off their opponent’s Nasher Baron burst. They rattled off back-to-back wins in the mid lane to build a 20-7 kill advantage after 32 minutes.
Thrown into a tailspin, OK Savings Bank lost their composure and started to play impatiently. In game two, the team’s core powerhouse, Uhm “Mumty” Sung-hyun (Bye), was forced into the opponent’s lane and suffered a series of painful deaths. With the enemy laner in hand, DRX secured a convincing win by hunting down Baron Nasher at 20-minutes. They destroyed the opposing nexus without much difficulty.
