Trevor Bauer (32), who was notified of the Los Angeles Dodgers’ declaration of separation, expressed regret at the team’s decision.
Bauer said in a statement released after the Dodgers’ designated for assignment (DFA) action on the 7th (Korean time) that he was “disappointed with the club’s decision.”
Bauer said, “I have not been able to communicate with the club due to the administrative leave and mediation process. However, the agents tried to talk to the Dodgers leadership after the mediation process was over.”
“There was a conversation about returning for two weeks, and we met and talked yesterday,” he added.
However, 토토 the Dodgers eventually decided to break up with Bauer, and Bauer had to wait for a new club to select him.
Bauer expressed his disappointment but also expressed his gratitude. He said, “I am grateful for the support I have received from the Dodgers clubhouse. I wish all players good luck and hope to compete again anywhere.”
The Dodgers removed Bauer from the 40-man roster and issued a DFA. The Dodgers have to pay Bauer’s remaining annual salary of $22.5 million (about 28.35 billion won), and clubs that want to recruit Bauer can sign a contract for the minimum annual salary of $720,000 (about 900 million won).
